Weakland Farms’ corn maze is a mile and a half, six acre field comprised of eight feet tall field corn. Paths, which measure 48 inches wide, are cut in the corn to complete a specified design. Stations with questions are hidden throughout the maze to provide a challenging yet fun experience. The questions are usually general knowledge, simple enough for kids to answer. Allow yourself at least an hour to answer the questions, complete the maze, and enjoy the outdoor experience.
Barnyard Educational Animals
Weakland Farms has barnyard animals on the property for a quick and fun educational experience. You can stand inches away from different kinds of farm animals and witness their behavior up close.
Weakland Farms offers an educational and interactive barnyard animal experience. While feeding or petting our rabbits, pigs, calves, and goats, visitors can learn interesting facts about each animal. Various questions and answers are posted throughout the barnyard to help all ages get to know our animals better. Special animal feed can be purchased for feeding the animals and a hand washing station is provided.
You will love our calm and tranquil wagon ride through the scenic Central PA country side. You'll get a real 'down on the farm' experience.
Weakland Farms provides a 15 minute wagon ride which covers 3 miles of beautiful scenic country side. Up to 30 people can climb aboard one of our wagons at a time. Our tractors travel at approximately 3-5mph as they pull the wagon along country roads. The ride will make a stop at the pumpkin patch where we encourage you to explore and pick your own pumpkin that can be purchased at the farm. The rides run all day until the time posted and when weather is permitting. For the safety of our guests we do not provide wagon rides at dusk, at night, or in inclement weather.
Make sure you take a walk through our large pumpkin patch where you can choose and cut your own pumpkin to buy.
At the farm we raise various types of pumpkins in a 5 acre pumpkin patch. You can find various varieties from Cinderella pumpkins and Jack-be-Littles to Baby Pams (pie pumpkins) and many more. Our wagon ride will stop at the pumpkin patch where you can walk around and pick your own pumpkin. After choosing a pumpkin you can cut it and purchase it at the main building. Remember, pumpkins are not included in the price of admission and must be purchased. Pumpkins weigh on average about 15-20 pounds. Pre-cut pumpkins are also available near the barn if you do not wish to pick your own. Cutters are available to be used when you find a pumpkin or you can see our tractor drivers for assistance.
